Getting some pallets from plants and have couple buddies trying to find a couple culverts. Going to cement some switch cane in buckets when it fills up. Also going to dig about a one foot deep ditch across a piece of it. Read in another forum that bugger fish will congregate in ditch and think they are hidden

Wondering if gradually declining the slope off of your middle area (creating a "point" found in lakes) in both directions would cause the bass to hang and give you a couple casting lanes to pick up bigger fish. 
Your ditch may accomplish the same thing.
