I think it just depends. I've missed the playoffs every time I grab 2 elite rbs in my league. But the guys who have Brees, Rodgers, Manning, etc are usually right up there. I also don't like using avg ppg as monster games can skew that badly...especially for RBs. I just try to get as many top 3-4 guys at each position as I can. I'm definitely not taking two of the lower ranked "top" running backs towards the end of the first round in a non ppr league. If you take 2 second tier running backs you will then be taking 2 second or even third tier wide receivers and lower ranked quarterbacks. Just get as many elite players as you can.
