Everyone has their own and this one is mine. It is good with pork and chicken.

Smoked Paprica
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Cayanne Pepper
Sugar
Some other stuff
A very very small amount of salt, which makes it more expensive to make, but allows me add it heavy without over salting the meat.

Your rub needs to be your's. I have worked on mine a long time. It is to the point where I make around 2-5 pounds, which keeps it more consistent. Stores just fine in a zip lock bag.

The spices I listed are a good start.
