After watching the first season and the beginning of this one I just really dont like Korra. She is a selfish count. It's completely different than Aang who was very wise ans responsible, even though he was much younger than what Korra is.

She's been countish this season for sure, but I didn't really ever think of her as that in the first season. She definitely owes Tenzin an apology, since she doesn't even show him the respect for the sacrifices he's made for her and doesn't give a frick about hurting him. I'm sure Korra at the end of the last episode is beginning to realize that she fricked up by not following Tenzin's advice and that her uncle was merely using her like Tarlok attempted to.

Saying that, I still like the new Avatar it's just completely different than how Aang was and how one would assume the avatar should be. I'm sure that's probably the point to make them complete opposites but still. She is a total bitch. It's kind of annoying.

The show is making it a point though. It shows that Korra has progressed little emotionally since last season and didn't learn jackshit from facing Amon. I think she'll learn her lesson and change at the end, just as Aang grew up and stopped running from his destiny.

Honestly, Korra's powers probably should have been taken from her for a few years until she mastered airbending and her spirituality, and then she could have had it back. I do fault the show for giving her her powers back much too soon so she could actually learn from them. Definitely thought they would end the season last year with Korra only retaining her airbending, and then have this season focus on getting her powers back to face an even bigger threat.

Wow, I would have really like that. However, I like that this is teaching her a lesson that even though she has begun to master all of the elements and can use the Avatar state, that doesn't make her a fully realized Avatar.

It's incredible to me that Aang and Korra are almost complete opposites. Each one already has what the other lacked. Both are immature during their journey.

I'm super excited for this season. I love the setup for the water tribe civil war. Plus I love that there will be subplots involving Tenzin and his family. It seems like they're setting up Jinora for something special. I have a feeling that she'll play a part in helping Korra to progress spiritually.
