UGA out recruits LSU on a yearly basis. Richt is a good coach, but hes no les miles.

Louisiana has more d1 programs than Georgia. North LA is just as close to ole miss and bama as it is to br. We akso have arjansas, ou and all the texas schools trying to raid us.

usc, osu, nd, penn state, fsu, uf, miami have all tried to recruit louisiana. and has done it with success. we lock down the state because weve been lucky to have back to back coaches that recruiy and sell the program like no other. this wasnt akways the case.

LA will never be as loaded as FL.

Sure this year we have some talent, but i bet every year FL has more d1 players than LA. The population doesnt lie. While we may have a few really high ranked players, they just have way more prospects. We have a commitment from a 3* player from florida that isnt even in the top 247. But the coaches view him highly with all the other dbs on the board.

That is partially offset by the fact that there are three big D-1 programs in the state, in addition to several others that are mid-majors. Also, just about every school in the east and midwest offers a lot of FL prospects. We don't have to compete with any othe major D-1 schools (read it and weep La Tech and USL).
