When I think about Georgia I imagine Atlanta being the cultural urban environment and everything else being that old Southern backwoods area. I wonder how much kids just want to get the hell out of the state of Georgia altogether?

I agree with this. It's part of their problem. It also doesn't help that Atlanta has become so damn big in the last 20 years. people from everywhere are moving there with no roots to UGA
