Anybody can tease Charlotte. Sacramento can tease Charlotte. I've heard farts more interesting than Charlotte, and the franchise is a certified shite show right now.
People are thrilled about Pelicans because we will never hear our team called the Bees again.

The Pelicans are making a lot more buzz than the Pistons right now. That's for sure. The city of Detroit just filed for bankruptcy while the population decreases significantly every few years. Oh, good job on Josh fkn Smith

I understand your point, and it would be a good one if it made sense overall. HOWEVER . . .
. . . it's fricking Charlotte, North Carolina.
. . . NASCAR rules over black guys with tattoos playing a style of basketball that is anathema to the Tar Heel purists
. . . N.O. rocks decently when there's not a shite show for a franchise
. . . there's more excitement over the upcoming season, offseason moves and rebranding than I've seen since the year we should, by all rights, have made it to the Western Conference Finals
. . . and, finally, I will tease the everloving frick out of anybody I feel deserves it.
