Alleman was a walk-on. Hard to say a walk-on is a bust.
Moreover, his career stats are 37/47 (79%) on FG and 106/107 on XP.
He was fine.

I didn't say he was a bust. As far as his FG % goes, I haven't looked it up, but as I stated with the redzone stats, LSU tries a TON of short to medium length FGs which of course does tend to drive up your success rate. I don't remember Alleman being very good on long FGs. Also, as I stated, he was kicking so short on kiokoffs that they went to Hairston the latter half of 2011 I believe to remedy that.
BTW, he STARTED as a walk on but I believe he was on scholarship the last 2 years right? I'll stick with my "disappointment" opinion...I wouldn't put him the Jaspar, Browndyke, etc class of LSU kickers at all. That does not make him a bust BTW.
