It's really all you deserve if you even garner a response at all. I agree with many that consider you the worst poster on here. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and don't post EVER!!

would you happen to classify any of saban's seasons (sans 2003) to be a let down?

I'm also noticing how much of this "letdown" talk is confined to Miles tenure as coach. As if there's never been a season before that didn't live up to some fans expectations. If what the OP is saying is valid, then nearly every season in nearly every sport in LSU history has been a disappointing "letdown". Some folks really just need to learn to enjoy the ride.

I've read a lot of reasons why you're wrong....the main ones being your perspective is off. If the only results that will give you a satisfied feeling is a NC then your expectations are far too high. A team can have a really enjoyable season and meet some great team goals without winning it all. If we as fans can't just enjoy the journey then we'll live in misery.

Ranked #1 to losing the Chick-Fil-A - yes, it was disappointing - what's your point?

The Director's Cup gives us a good indication of the success of the program in all sports. But the only thing it doesnt do it value the Big 3 sports more than the lesser cared about sports. For this reason, Stanford wins it year after year. But I like to use it to compare our program year after year. Below is the result.

LINK

2012-2013 - 4th in the SEC and 19th in the country
2011-2012 - 2nd in the SEC and 13th in the country
2010-2011 - 2nd in the SEC and 19th in the country
2009-2010 - 3rd in the SEC and 19th in the country
2008-2009 - 2nd in the SEC and 9th in the country

I don't see this let down you're talking about.

Can't argue . Baseball team had a bad week in Omaha. Basketball is going up. Football team will not go 14-0, so don't entertain those delusions.

Overall, the programs do well enough. Winning three NC's in each sport Every Year will never happen. Programs are competitive. That is all that matters.
