1 out of 3 to 1 out of 5 decided by PKs

Yea i think these were just how many games had a pentalty kick.. especially since games can end in ties. Unless you broke it down and said oh this was a game in which it was 4-0 final and had a pk so that game wasn't decided by pk's

I don't agree with moving the box size down for the reasoning of goalies ability to come out and stop an over the top ball or lobbed through ball. As a defender, I think this would change alot of how the game is played.
However, i do think a reduction in the size of the box in which a pk would be given would be beneficial or as someone put it more common sense used. I agree with the idea that it should be a goal scoring opportunity

I don't really think that this was the complete question of the OP. I think it was more of the Pk's used as an overtime way to decide a winner. To that, I think it is great personally. Granted i like the idea of the FA Cup replay but that is unfeasable in tournaments like the Confed. Cup and World Cup etc.
Adding more time is also unfeasable IMO because the players are already dead after 120. I think it is the best possible scenario and most exciting for the fans. Plus going into 7th or 8th pk (like in the Italy-Spain game) is rare, so its not as easy as the OP suggests. and i like Buffon's chances against anyone who posts on this board.

shite. I like Mo Isom's chances against anyone that posts on this board.

To think of PKs as easy (or already decided) from either perspective is laughable.

I can take a decent PK, and I want no part of taking one against a professional, especially some 6-6 monster like Stekelenburg or Michael Gspurning. That goal shrinks REAL quick.
