Which former LSU player has had the single greatest NFL season?
What, no PP7???
Holy Honey Badger, forgot about PP7!, And Y.A. Tittle (one of three LSU NFL HOF'ers - along with Steve Van Buren and Jim Taylor)...

Jim Taylor for RB
Dwayne Bowe for WR
This. Since were talking about just a great single season, Bowe has to be in the conversation. Dude had 15 TDs in 2010, 3 more than any other WR in the league. And only 1 non QB player had more than him and it was Arian Foster with 16.

Jim Taylor, it's a shame that he and a few others aren't on the ring of honor yet

On special teams: Trindon Holliday wasn't too shabby last year.

And best preseason: Jarrett Effing Lee!

Dalton Hilliard ran for around 1250 yards for the Saints back in the late 80s I think.
Also, Tittle was a two time NFL MVP, 7x Pro Bowler, 3x All-Pro, MVP of 1947 Cotton Bowl, the first NFL QB to ever throw 30 or more TDs in consecutive seasons, had his #14 retired by the NY Giants, and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Top it off with a really cool name and one of the most iconic football photos ever:
It amazes me how little LSU fans seem to know or care about this legendary player.

Been a while since I've posted here. I'm rusty.
I'll get sharper by kickoff.
Don't worry.

I know he wasn't spectacular for a long period of time, but Harvey Williams was a hoss for a couple of years. Also, he and Dalton Hilliard were very enjoyable to watch playing together in TS.

Williams was a senior in high school when the saints drafted Dalton.

Apologize. Read Hilliard name a few posts before mine. Meant the Hodson kid. I'm old.

YA, Jones, Eric Martin, Eric Hill, Dalton.

While I thought Bert Jones' 1976 MVP season was the best, for a career, the debate starts with these HOFers...
Van Buren

Jimmy Taylor
