I had a drinking problem for a few years but that was long after this funky issue.

She was pretty damn good looking too but so strange that I just couldn't go there.

Not really, but it was a definite turn off. I like freaky people but that was even a bit weird for me.

They're extremely popular, arguably without reason, and are too often lumped in with far better acts?

I'm not a Doors hater,but I think very reasonable arguments can be made that they're overrated.

For any overrated camps: put on the LA women album. Give the whole thing a listen, front to back- Hard-pressed to find much that can stack up to it in my opinion.
