waiting patiently
Philanthropic Ranking:3,837
any shot?
I'm hoping at the very least to get some after the expansion.

Done simultaneously....phil ranking used for both.

Based on distribution for UGA and Bama, doesn't it seem like a higher number of people got tickets this year? Meaning that maybe the big dogs were given fewer tickets, which allowed LSU to distribute tickets to more people?
If my memory is correct, the Bama and UGA tickets were hard tickets to come by last time we visited and fewer accounts were awarded with tickets.

Usually there is a thread that gets started on the ticket exchange once they start calling people

Do you know if they started yet?

I don't believe they have. They usually send out an email to everyone on the wait/upgrade list right when they start, basically saying "the process is about to begin, please be patient, it could take 1-2 months...you will receive an email 2-3 days before your call."
someone above said they got a call last week. It's possible, but I doubt it. Like I said, they always send out a mass email when the process begins, and I haven't received anything yet.
As was the case in the previous years, if you're not in the top4000 phil ranking, they probably wont make it down to you. I expect 98-99% renewal again this year...Next year (2014) is going to be the good year to be on the wait/upgrade list as there is going to be TONS of shuffling with the new South endzone.

Doubt me if you like, but we did get a call last week and got 2 tickets in 301... Didn't receive an email prior, just a phone call...

yeah but what's crazy is the ticket office is selling football tickets right now regardless if you're on the wait list or not.
They are offering an Arkansas mini plan to anyone right now for $164.50 to four home games including Arkansas, Furman, Kent St, and UAB.
IIRC, they didn't do that shite before... They would let the people on the wait list have the first crack at those tickets.
But whatever.

I think those "arkansas" packagages are merely leftover student tickets and/or visitor tickets that were unused...They can't sell those seats as season tickets (because people already have those seats for the bigger games)
in other words, A&M sold out their allotment, but Furham did not. Well those Furham leftover seats can't be sold as season tickets because A&M and Florida fans, etc, already have those seats for that particular game.
there are a lot of seats the ticket office has no choice but to offer as single-game tix or as a mini season package.
