I can see where you're coming from. Local guys usually get too much love for their own good when you're a nonpartisan observer. I'm glad I heard about him after I left BR.

Yeah you cant play a Gates song anymore without some saying "You know hes gay right???"

Luckily I'm in Texas so he gets no play on the radio and his stuff is very enjoyable. I can pretty much listen to Just Ride every day and not get tired of that song
