I saw Sean Connery in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves mentioned above. Even before the internet they were able to ruin that spoiler for everyone. It got out that Sean Connery would be appearing in a surprise role. Which, if you'd seen the Errol Flynn movie, was pretty obvious what role he'd be in.

But Ted Danson showing up in the middle of Saving Private Ryan was weird as hell. It was like "what the hell is Ted Danson doing there???"
