Chris Paul is very good. He fills the stat sheet. However, he has never been past the second round in his career, even after he chased the "big market" and got to play with Blake Griffin.
Comparing the two as prospects, AD was a consensus #1 pick who is 6'10" and was the consensus college player of the year who led his team to a NC in his only year. CP was a 6'0" PG, the #4 player picked, and the second PG picked. I know he has been better than that in the NBA, but looking at player ceilings at 20 years of age you have to give the edge to AD.
