Newsroom brought pretentious TV to a new level.
It was passable with West Wing because, yeah, you're dealing with the leader of the free world.
But with Newsroom you had a set of pretentious douches explaining how you should feel about the universe with the added layer of it all taking place in the past, so they had the benefit of future sight.
After a couple of episodes it became a predictable comedy.

It is the perfectly dishonest television show for our perfectly dishonest country, and a perfect representation of Obama's effete, sand-in-the-vag AmeriKKKa. I would like to punch every person involved in it's production in the uterus and then force them to get a real job somewhere in Flyover Country.
