7 of the 15 largest in the world. They own pretty much every major brand on earth starting with marlboro. That's the only important one anyways. The ones they don't own are monopolies in china tobacco, japan tobacco, and brands by british tobacco ......even though L&M and Bond Street are the big deal anyways in england
If your not a smoker you wouldn't get it, Marlboro is probably 70% of my sales in the US of cigarettes. The other companies Lorillard and Reynolds make the not famous stuff: Camel,Kool,Doral,Newport.....Marlboro is flat out the king in the US and for those abroad its something they strive to be able to achieve. They have so many types and variations but
Marlboro Light is the most popular cigarette in the world
followed by
Marlboro Red
Marlboro Light special Blend
Marlboro Red Special Blend
Marlboro Menthol
Marlboro Menthol Light
Marlboro Black
Marlboro Smooth
Marlboro Skyline
Skoal
Copenhagen
They literally own all the goodbrands, they have ones to target the rich, they even have menthol ones aimed at the poor, then for those who can't afford the marlboro red and marlboro light they have have the special blend which is $1 off. They do it all.
Some of these brands they own in smaller countries are monopolies basically.

So, in other countries, are they named the same?

How much more do they cost in other countries compared to other brands?
