I'd venture a guess Peterson is perfectly fine with his career thus far in comparison to Reed, and wouldn't trade places. He knows it's just a matter of time until he has Tour status. He's played in three majors and made the cut in all of them while Reed is 0/0. Oh and he is better than Reed so that certainly bodes well for future earnings as well.
any updates on this Reed vs Peterson debate

Yea, actually Patrick Reed is leading the John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour right now.

Anyone who thinks Peterson is better is an idiot. They are both great players but Reed is much much better. Its not even close. Reed made 7 or 8 Monday qualifiers last season and cashed in almost all of them. Thats unheard of. He earned his tour card through the brutal q school and is on pace to have his tour card for next season in 2-3 more tourneys. Peterson has a very long way to get pga tour status. Has to get top 25. But then needs top 100 to play against the 126-200 on the pga tour list to make top 50 and get his card. Very very difficult. And forget the...O but he has a top 5 finish in the US Open. Its easy to get hot one week. Reed was hot for 8 weeks last season.

Conditions are ripe for scoring during Round 2. Just ask Patrick Reed. He fired a 63 to take the clubhouse lead.
