I have always like bluebell vanilla bean more than homemade vanilla but can't seem to find it... The frick.
My inlaws have an old school ice cream churn that make the best I've cream I've ever had.

As a kid, Breyer's Heavenly Hash or Rocky road.
Now, I like a lot of the Ben & Jerry's flavors. For a bunch of tree-hugging, liberal, smelly hippies, they can make some ice cream. Also, their transportation department is the biggest bunch of corksoakers I've ever tried to do business with. But that's a different story for a different board.
