My wife bought my son a 6 volt shitty power wheel for his birthday last year. We are already on our 2 battery and the batteries only last about 10 minutes if that. We got a new charger and battery and same shite. Could it be the motor?
I wanna hook that bitch up with 12 volt, what do I gotta do?

you should be able to run a 6V DC motor on 12V but the motor is going to run hotter than it will on 6V (because it's going to run a lot faster). this will ultimately reduce the life of the motor, and how much it does this is based on how long you run the motor at a given time. good luck.
