L.D.W.F. Offering Hunter Ed. Instructor Training in St. Tammany This Weekend!

The training facility is located at 39395 Pine Street in Pearl River and class begins on Friday, June 28 with a three-hour session from 6 to 9 p.m., and concludes on Saturday, June 29 with eight hours of training from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Was told they only offer it once a year and most all the range officers in holding will be there...

Ill have to see if I can work the day shift on friday and make it. Always a good certification to have.

Gene emailed me and told me there were still openings...

I don't know how I feel about giving up a whole Saturday though...Family time is real important with the school issues and all...trying to keep the kids minds off of the imminent swap to private school, as we lost our appeals...kids are devastated...

Hunter Ed. Wish PE would teach this in school.

My neighbor and I dropped our boys off a few years ago to Hunter Ed right there in Pearl River. Picked them up that afternoon and went and shot the three rounds the next day. Good to go.
