I wonder what the live fire exercises entail.

Was told they only offer it once a year and most all the range officers in holding will be there...

You going tonight Chris?
Gene emailed me and told me there were still openings...
I don't know how I feel about giving up a whole Saturday though...Family time is real important with the school issues and all...trying to keep the kids minds off of the imminent swap to private school, as we lost our appeals...kids are devastated...

Good seeing you there tonight... Think we can keep that dingy broad on the other side of the room from asking too many questions tomorrow??? We'll never get out of there on time if not!

Did you make it to the class???? If so, were you scoping the room trying to figure out who Pepp and I were?

Typical "state-run" kind of class. Lots of information that's just barely breezed over. Instructor points out obvious things that will be on test.
Tomorrow is all day, ending with us doing live fire exercises at Honey Island.

the video was the worst part of the class so far...and that woman that talks to much/asks too many questions...

20 years my arse!!!! Ain't no way you're 56 yrs old!
I'll give you props for at least hitting ONE of the 3 skeet we got to shoot at... (I hit a whopping ZERO!)
I hadn't shot a shotgun, much less at skeet, in over 22 years! I need to get me a damned shotgun!

that youth shotgun was a bit small for either of us...I hit that first one and got cocky and thought I didn't have to shoot anymore...blew my concentration when buttons said to continue shooting...I was like WTF? I would have normally gone 3 for 3...

Uh, you shot after me. Why'd you think you'd only have 1 shot when I had 3?

C'mon man! 22+ years of not even shooting a shotgun much less at a moving target AND using a youth model while your at it!
You'd miss too.

I thought he was letting you shoot until you hit one... Didn't know he was capping it at three shots at first...
