Well gortat averaged 11 and 8.5 this year compared to Peks 16 and 8.8, I'm not sure why you cited gortats 11-12 stats (the best of his career) other than to try and prove your point.

Peks only been in the league for three years and has improved drastically every single year. Pek has a better offensive game than your boy Gortat, but most importantly I don't think Pek has reached his potential quite yet.

In today's NBA the definition of elite center has changed because there are so few of them. Pek may not be elite right now, but there is no doubt in my mind that he will be elite due to his consistent improvement and already averaging about 16 and 9.
