I have followed him pretty closely since he left Brazil and he was never given a real chance in Italy. Rafa is the only one who ever really did, in his short time there, and he performed well. I think some of the other managers preferred experience over youth.
He did well in La Liga on his loan spell.
Building on last season, his confidence has to be high... Not only has BR shown confidence in him with PT, but he moved him in to a central role.. I think he is poised to break out in the next couple of years!

He's another future superstar that we're going to have to get European football for if we hope to keep.

i think he becomes a central figure of our squad THIS year… he's young, but has a lot of experience in that short time… dude is a player, and in Rodger's system, he'll succeed in a major way...
