Make sure you have a good anchor for the beach to hold boat and if fishing the rocks in the pass idle for a bit and see how current pulls boats (if current is present). Dont get too close to rocks - currents can rip through the pass at times but generally a great place to start. Also when exiting the pass dont hang a right roo soon to get to the beach in front of Elmers - shalow areas exist close to the beach.
