Hard to say, actually. I think Dinardo may be the better coach. If he were here today with the talent we have now, he'd be much, much better than he was in the 90's.

Archer was in way over his head. Rode Arnsbargers coattails, and I believe Arnsbarger lobbied pretty hard for him. Totally lost contol of the team, and started the dearth spiral.

DiNardo hands down. His fortunes started falling when Carl Reese (def coord) took a lateral transfer to Texas because he had problems with DiNardo's micromanaging. DiNardo brought Lou Tepper which was a total disaster.
