I think the best way I've described it in the past that gets the lightbulb to go off for some people is very simple:

Michael Jordan, everyone says he was the most clutch player ever, blah blah blah. For the 1st 47 minutes of a game, who was the best player to ever play basketball? Michael Jordan.

So, it kinda goes without saying that he's also going to be the best player who makes the shots in the final minute. People have it backwards. They say he's the GOAT because he makes those big shots. I say ha makes those big shots because he's the GOAT.
