LSU didn't look good against Jack state, Sam Houston nor UL. it finally caught up to them...end of story

NCAA Regional
Jackson St. . W, 11-7
Sam Houston St. W, 8-5
UL-Lafayette W, 5-1

NCAA Super Regional
#19 Oklahoma W, 2-0 (top pitcher taken in the draft)
#19 Oklahoma W, 11-1

OK. LSU might not have dominated in the regional, but they still drove in enough runs to go 3-0 despite some errors against SHS and shaky pitching against JSU.

LSU hit the ball hard in the CWS, but because of shallow outfielders the bloop singles and looping hits to the gap were pop flies. The outfielders can play shallow because few balls are hit hard enough with velocity to get over their heads on a line, and the towering hits are knocked down by either the wind or the neutered bats can't get them over the wall.

The game has been diminished, but small ball strategy is more exciting to you?
