This is true.

I love how others simply want to say - LSU choked - because that makes them feel better - nobody beat them, they just beat themselves...(this is what psychologists say children tell themselves so they won't cry.)

LSU faced two elite teams and great pitching and got beat mound vs. plate...plain and simple...and this isn't some old LL ballpark where every pop-fly goes out...you need to really knock the ball...and they couldn't...relying on HRs is not much of strategy in today's game anyways.

UCLA was used to winning pitching duels - LSU was not.
