400 miles between charges and a battery swap with a car in the right price slot and they are golden.
Maybe even 300 miles between swaps.
A typical day for a suburbanite is a commute plus running kids all over the place.
Then every once in a while, a trip to the beach.
If you can do that daily stuff without stopping, then charge overnight PLUS when you take a long trip, swap a battery like you used to stop for gas, they have a winner.

Agreed, and I will be surprised if we aren't at that level tech-wise within 3-5 years.

I'd look into it if it fits 5 people comfortably, costs less than 50k, can go 300 miles on a single charge, and battery swaps/charges less than 10 minutes.
