He turns doubles into outs in cf. he can out run pretty much any ball.

He'd fit right in with the UCLA batters, very low average and good bunters

Yes he has turned a few doubles into outs, he also has misjudged two soft liners into center that turned outs into singles. Twice he has left his feet and dove for balls hit into the gap that he had no chance to catch thereby giving the opposition extra bases.
He saved some runs on several running catches. How many runs has he cost us by hitting .190? We will never know but over the course of a season I believe it is a lot more than he saved.
