They knew what we would do, put their outfielders in the right spots, and we did nothing. They knew we would try to hit it over their heads or in the gap, put their guys 20 feet from the warning track, and we NEVER tried to drop anything in front of them. Our style was doomed in that ballpark unless they pulled a Louisville and put their CF 50 feet behind second base.
