Not just a man on first. The tying run on first after they booted a ball and gave us a chance to be in that position. The pitcher was staying away from Rymes because he is dangerous at the plate. At least wait for the strike. Great hitters count but THE TYING RUN IS ON FIRST!!!! GET IT OVER!! Love CPM. Love LES too. But some decisions can be scrutinized.

Not really. He just wasn't throwing strikes. You can't intentionally stay away from a hitter when he is the winning run and there is a runner on first base.
