I talked to a guy at the site of the old Rosenblatt stadium. He saw my LSU shirt and he told me a story about a particular tree at that location. Seems there were several trees cut down when the stadium was demolished to make a new parking lot for the zoo. One tree was spared. An LSU fan or group of fans had that tree dug up and shipped back to Louisiana. This was the tree this fan always tailgated under at the old stadium. Sounds pretty cool to me.

If true that's awesome. If not it would be awesome.

If this is true I hope this guy keeps his address a secret. Harvey Updyke does live in Albany. Would be a shame
If something happened to it.
