Always an excuse as to why it won't work and the physical copies need to hang around for competition pruposes.
One PS4 fanboy straight up said that without physical copies there would be zero competition.

Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo can already say who can and can't sell games for their consoles. Doesn't matter if it is digital or not. Publishers have to pay license fees, and the console makers don't HAVE to accept you.
