Phil played a couple of rounds at Merion prior to this week. If he shoots E tomorrow he will get credit for being a wonderful father (which he is) and a championship contender. If he shoots 75, he's a knucklehead and the critics will have a field day. I hope he shoots 70.

Yeah pretty clear you just compared 8th grade graduation to having a child.
Family first is a great attitude and all that shite but I don't think it's that great of a story bc as I said, it's a non event. I literally will value a single sporting event (one baseball or soccer game) of my kid's over them passing 8th grade.

Agreed. For those in this thread that don't have children, please don't post your baseless opinion and BS. Until you have your own and become a selfless person and find nothing but pure joy in that, shut the hell up.

I have kids and I wouldn't attend such a dumb graduation event.
Two main ones are required. High school and college.
Other than that let the schools have their feel good bs and I'll do something more important.
