LSU gets 700 tickets for each game we play. I assume that includes tickets that go to the players for their families.

take from those also the alumni assoc. they were taking applications earlier for flights, hotel rooms and tickets to all games in which LSU will play including the championship game if they make it. so there is a couple hundred tickets easily. So you take those 2 hundred, players tickets, the 100 or so for the athletic dept. which flies back and forth for LSU's games, and you don't have but probably a 200 or 300 left. unless when they say each school gets 700, that is for distribution to the fans. Hell the ncaa requires 600 for a fan base for the super regionals.

Every year I have gone I bought my championship ticket thru professional scalpers early before I left and bought the rest of the tickets once I arrived. It came out cheaper that way and had the ability to be picky about where we got a seat for the championship games.
Family gave up our seats after 2009 so we no longer get offers for them so I wasn't sure what the rankings had to be.
