I went through Flat boat yesterday. I heard about the accident yesterday morning. I think we would all be surprised to see what type of boats go thru these places.
I almost got it 3 years ago in the morning when a 26-30 laffite skiff decided 7 am was a good time to come in.
He was hauling. Flatboat at the gulf bay is only 1.5 ft deep at a low tide.
RIP Brad you sounded like a good man.

I just met Brad this year,he fished with my freind in venice.I saw him saturday with the crew he was with. they were eating, joking,and have a good time.It was nice to know this young man!my prayer go out to his family/freinds for there loss

There will be a wake for Brad Malcolm Thursday from 5-9pm at Samart Funeral Home located at 635 Bayou Blue Rd.
Friday there will be visitation at St. Louis Church in Bayou Blue from 9-11am with mass to follow at 11. Burial will follow the mass at St. Louis.
