re: Pelicans interested in Iggy?

I have to ask...do we really want Ig on this team?

We are still, in my mind, 2 years away from being really competitive. Do we want a guy that in 2-3 years getting paid that much that will be on the downside of his career?

Those are the kind of things you have to think about in roster construction. Will our core players be hitting their stride together? When will contracts expire? Will we pick it up again? etc

I know a lot of people here think we are going to win sooner rather than later, I just don't think that's the case, even adding Iggy.
