Well the man child Justin Williams "Terrebonne HS" got taken with the 52nd pick "2nd round" by the Diamondbacks in the MLB draft tonight. At this point don't think there is anyway he plays for LSU with the contract he will get. To bad saw that kid put on a hitting clinic last year in San Diego in Perfect Game's Allstar game. To say he was a beast is an understatement, he was a man amongst boys.

I wish the best for a hometown Louisiana kid, but just hope he also thinks he went 52nd this draft with his talent in 3 years he would be drafted in the top 10 no doubt.

He could have been drafted in the 5th round and he was still going pro.

"Justin Williams gets drafted"
Plus he is old, I actually thought he died, and that fake Cajun accent...
Dude could cook though.

I'm don't think you'll find anyone that actually thought he would....this was a foregone conclusion

No and I didn't either and had posted that in earlier threads about him. But stranger things have happened, case in point look at Bregman, everyone states certain 1st rounder if he wasn't hurt his senior year. So not that I was hoping he got hurt, just was hoping he would wear an LSU Tiger uniform but that doesn't seem to be the case at this point.

Oh well I guy can dream.

Justin just wasn't cajun, he just learned how to talk cajun, from telling cajun jokes...He did well for himself in doing so...

It was a fake accent, he was from Roseland for Christ sakes. He said he developed the accent telling Cajun jokes as a public speaker in his first job.

Gambling on getting drafted higher than 52 is a pretty big gamble. I would tell him to go pro.

Oh let me help you since you graduated from Rummel, you mistook me for someone who gives a sh*t! Don't forget to hang your diploma up in the windshield when parking in the handicap zones.
