I had so much respect for yo before that post.
Grilled corn...? That's your answer?
That food makes you have to pause and close your eyes because you don't want any distractions? Makes you feel slightly intoxicated and euphoric? Makes your jaw numb? And has you questioning your decision to ever eat a different meal for as long as you live?

quote:Sorry to lose yo respect, but this was not a frivolous answer. I have lots of love for freshly picked sweet corn, grilled on a hot summer's day, then coated with clarified butter and perhaps a touch of Slap Ya Mama. I grew up in the Midwest, and one of the joys when I was younger was stopping along the highway and picking up a sack of freshly picked corn (you can actually eat it raw.) 2012's rainfall was a bitch for fresh corn.

Yes, when I bite into grilled, buttered, fresh corn on the cob, I do pause and close my eyes, feeling intoxicated and euphoric. It's called a foodgasm. I'm actually astounded that this would be questioned.
