Assuming the OU pitcher does not take adderall before pitching this weekend

I admit I am unknowledgeable when it comes to adderall and its effects and after effects.
Will not taking it have any influence on Gray's performance?
If he has been taking it for a while, say...for the entire season, and he doesn't take it now, how will that make him feel physically and mentally?
And lastly, what will prevent him from taking it prior to pitching against us? Is he subjected to being tested again since the test he failed was for MLB and not OU or the NCAA and apparently they don't care if he takes it?

I honestly think the only negative effect it will have on him is that he will be pressing to prove to the MLB scouts that it wasn't performance enhancing. He may try to do too much, and cave.

Probably not. He will still be throwing 98 MPH all night.

1. He will already have been drafted when he plays, so he has NOTHING to "prove" to MLB scouts at that point.
2. He throws 100 MPH. Adderall doesn't make you throw 100 MPH.

What is Adderall?
Adderall contains a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. Both these medicines are central nervous system stimulants that affect chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control.
Adderall is used to treat narcolepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Adderall may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

It doesn't help you cover a WR either, but CBs in the NFL take it. It's all about focus, and adderall helps you do it. Are you telling me that being able to keep your composure and focus better isn't enhancing?
Also, hes playing for his contract. Just because you get drafted doesn't mean you get the guaranteed money you want.

If he has been on it for a while and had to quit cold turkey you can bet your arse it will affect his pitching and his head. Anyone who says otherwise has never taken Adderall.

it will not affect his ability to throw hard, but it could affect his ability to concentrate or be accurate. trust me, adderall has a larger affect on an athlete's performance than most would think.

Exactly

Are you telling me that this makes a pitcher throw 100 MPH? Sure the adderall helped his focus out - there's not doubt about that. But, people are acting like he won't be able to pitch now, which is stupid. He has talent. He will still be good.

Has nothing to do with scouts.

He will have a helluva headache for a few days if he was used to taking it and all of a sudden has to stop

Thanks. I read all that before I posted my OP but that information doesn't answer my questions.
I couldn't find anything about the effects of stopping taking adderall, especially for a athlete who was not diagnosed as needing it for a medical condition but only took it to "enhance" his athletic performance.
I was hoping someone on here might be in the pharmacy/medical field and would know.

it will bother him psychologically, especially if he takes it for every start. the chemical make up of the brain will be different, therefore causing a change. he will still throw heat, but can he handle the pressure of a full house in alex box and be able to focus? i doubt it
eta: i am somewhat of an expert in drug use and how it effects the brain/body
