Should have been 6-3 germany. They had their high school squad also.

Henceforth, Klinnsman should be fired. Off with his head!

but, i did like that our guys were actually running with the ball versus 90 minutes of wild hopeless long passes. Props to who ever had that idea.

Why the eff would you want your coach fired during World Cup qualifying when the USA is in a perfectly fine place to make it to Brazil?

Check back with me in two weeks, as qualifying is the most (only) important thing.

Ideally, we'll beat Jamaica at home (just like we always do, right?), do the business in Seattle and look 35% less like donkey shite against Honduras than the last time we played them.

I think beating our chests after an anal raping by Belgium, and beating a disinterested German B(?) team, on the back of a once every five years goalkeeper frick up is a tad premature.

The people criticizing Jurgen in the fire Klinsmann thread are some of the biggest supporters of US Soccer. It's not like we are coming up with random shite. Everything that has been said has facts and a backing to it. It's genuine concern and it's looking at the program realistically.

Jurgy still is not very tactically capable and his go to guy Martin Vasquez is awful. Nice win yesterday though

Ah yeah, mertesacker, ter stergen, schurrle, bender bros, klose, podolski, kruse are all right around high school level talent.

Nowhere near the talented evans, DMB, gonzales etc obviously.

I am right here. I still don't like his managerial style and am concerned about this team and qualification but obviously it was a great performance against Germany and I am happy to admit I was wrong to say he should be fired.

Road matches are broadcast on BeIN Sport (DirecTV channel 620, and quite a few other providers.)

Any bar that has DirecTV should have BeIN.

I'm almost scared to say this due to the amount of resentment there is towards regional cable companies but,,,,,
beIN sports will be covering all of our away qualifying matches.

At least let him coach in a meaningful tournament before you all want his head. Yall are probably the same ones that want Les Miles fired. smh

That is not how international soccer works with four years between the only tournament that truly matters. For a country like the United States as one of the big two in a relatively weak region, there is qualifying for the World Cup, and there is qualifying for the World Cup.

Sven-Goran Eriksson fricked around with Mexico during the 2010 qualifying cycle and was fired prior to the end of qualifying. It is not outrageous to expect a coach to lead a team like the USA to the World Cup, and it is not outrageous to expect a federation like US Soccer to do everything within its power to reach the World Cup if it doesn't look like a probability, including changing management. It's not 1989 anymore.
