Correct, I also asked Someone at the game, but maybe he "wasn't in the know", however he had an official looking LSU shirt, a name badge, and a walkie talkie! I did not ask him if he spent the night at a Holiday Inn Express however!

The amount of bullshite and misinformation in this thread is amazing.
The rule and formula for figuring out who is home and who is visitor is simple and it has been the same for years (whether you agree with it or not is a different issue)
It is all dependent on whom has been the home team the smallest percentage of games in which they have played.
If ULL wins today, they will be home team tonight. Why? Because going into tonight, ULL will have been the home team 33% of the time (1 out of 3) and LSU will have been the home team 50% of the time (1 out of 2).
It has nothing to do with who was home team last, it has nothing to do with seeding, it has nothing to do with what might or might not be fair. That is the rule...and it has been this way forever.

If that's the case, how was Oregon State the home team three out of their four games at the Box last year?
Edit: Never mind. That regional worked out as the 2 seed won their first game so LSU was home their first two. Carry on. Haha.

IMO, during regional round the #1 seed deserves to be home team for every game played, they should earn that right. For Supers, it should be home host first game, 2nd game as visitors and 3rd game coin flip because at that point both have earned the 50/50 chance.

When LSU and Oregon State played on the Sunday night game, going into the game, Oregon State had been home team 2 of 3 times (67%), but LSU had been home team 2 of 2 times (100%).
If there had been a Monday night game, LSU would have been home.

Why not either host team is home game every game or give them games 1 and 3-if necessary?

Yeah, I realized my mistake and added an edit to the bottom.
Kind of silly that that's how the rule works out, but I guess that gives the advantage to the host in the "if" game.

Pilot, only because of magnitude of that final Super game 3 vs regional games.
