What is Justin Maclin's deal?? I was thrilled with this signing out of HS, but he has never made it onto the field enough to make an impact.
Seems like this would be his best shot with huge holes at DE.
I remember hearing something about an injury at some point. Is he healthy? Even in the running for PT at this point?

He is stuck behind some better young talent. He will get some reps, but will not get the starting job unless he breaks out soon. We have recruited a large group of Dline the past year so that should indicate the low confidence the staff has on some of the soph/juniors on the team.
Maclin is caught in that hybrid body frame like a Mingo, but does not have the quickness of Mingo. He has put on some weight so maybe his strength will get him on the field.
