You would always be able to. The fee doesn't counteract that action, just makes it annoying because you have to pay a fee to activate. That is unless they change the policy before launch (which has to happen after all the negative press, right?)

This is the point people seem to miss when they keep posting you can resell the game.

the current gen and this next gen systems are primarily for what purpose? online gaming

gaming with friends. gaming with a community.

why would anyone who is willing to spend $300-500 on a console wait for the price to drop and buy the game used?

people want instant gratification and to play what their friends play when they play it.

the used/borrowed game argument is lame.

I say this a lot, the poor being poor thing. but besides kids, if you can afford a $500 console, why can't you afford a $60 game?

if not, stop gaming and get a fricking job

Also, a poster on Neogaf that has a pretty flawless leak record (going back to 2005, and has most recently leaked that Remember Me was no longer a Sony exclusive and going to all platforms) has said that two cool things.

1. Smartglass is mandatory for all launch games in some way or shape.

2. Dead Rising 3 is an Xbone exclusive.
