Don't deprive yourself of at least checking out a DW Collector kit. If I had 4K to spend on a new kit, that's the direction I'd go. Even a used kit. Mine is 17 years old and she still sounds beautiful and, the best part is, she's so easy to tune. I've never had an easier tuning experience.

Now that I've gotten my DW sales pitch out of the way, I'll say that, out of the three brands you mentioned, I believe I'd go Gretch...
