Sure, our poor could live like kings in Bangladesh, but then that really no longer makes the good ole US of A the 'best country in the world,' now would it?

our poor being better off than other nations poor really has very little, if anything, to do with the fact that the increasing wealth inequality is a very real problem that will eventually bite the super wealthy and major corporations in the arse.

and BTW, proclaiming that our poor are better off than the poor in any other nation in the history of the world is a dubious claim at best.
