I think the Seattle game is going to be the deciding factor in the division race between the Falcons and Saints. The way we played against Seattle in the playoffs, we shouldn't have won but I am glad we did. However, they got exponentially better this off-season and will be a much better team.

On the flip side to that, the Saints with Sean back should have no problems putting up points on the board again. I still think that the combo of Sean and Brees is better than Matt Ryan and Koetter. The jury on the Saints defense is still out, and personally I don't think they've done enough to have some great turn around. I think the Saints will still have one of the lesser defenses in the league next year, but the offense alone will win some more games.

New Orleans takes the division to continue the NFC South trend of never winning back to back division titles. Falcons make it to the playoffs as a Wild Card

For shits and giggles here are the rest of my NFC South predictions:

Carolina - 6-10
Tampa Bay - 9-7

I think a game will separate them either way. I think the winner has 10 or 11 with wc getting 9 or 10.

Posted in the o/u thread that as of opening day last year teams with 13+ wins repeated that 3/32 times with all 4 teams who did it in 11 falling short last year. Now 3/36. Combine that with the NFC south history and falcon fans looking for another runaway will likely be disappointed. It's just insanely hard to win huge numbers of games in consecutive years.
